Founded in 1921 in Tokyo, HARIO (translating to “The King of Glass”) began as a manufacturer of laboratory glassware. Today, it is the only heat-resistant glass manufacturer in Japan with its own factory, world-renowned for its coffee brewing equipment, particularly the legendary V60.

HARIO prides itself on using 100% natural minerals to refine its heat-resistant glass, making it an eco-friendly choice. Their glass is pure, heat-proof, and acid-proof, ensuring no chemical flavors are imparted to the coffee or tea.

The V60 is perhaps the most famous pour-over dripper in the world.

• The Name: Named after the 60-degree angle of its cone.
• The Ribs: The spiral ribs on the inside allow air to escape, maximizing the expansion of the coffee grounds.
