HARIO

Founded in 1921 in Tokyo, HARIO (translating to “The King of Glass”) began as a manufacturer of laboratory glassware. Today, it is the only heat-resistant glass manufacturer in Japan with its own factory, world-renowned for its coffee brewing equipment, particularly the legendary V60.

1. 100% Natural Minerals

HARIO prides itself on using 100% natural minerals to refine its heat-resistant glass, making it an eco-friendly choice. Their glass is pure, heat-proof, and acid-proof, ensuring no chemical flavors are imparted to the coffee or tea.

2. The Icon: V60 Dripper

The V60 is perhaps the most famous pour-over dripper in the world.

3. Beyond Coffee: Tea & Rice

HARIO also produces the “Jumping Tea Pot,” designed to allow tea leaves to move freely, and specialized glass rice cookers that can be used over an open flame—a testament to the extreme thermal shock resistance of their borosilicate glass.
